Four men have died allegedly after consuming liquor mixed with chemicals in Dharampuri district in Tamil Nadu, 300 km away from Chennai. Three of them had died yesterday and today the other one too was declared dead.

A revenue department officer of Tamil Nadu's Dharampuri district has been caught on camera playing Candy Crush Saga on cellphone during an official meeting with farmers to discuss their problems. The meeting, which was attended by dozens of farmers, was held on Friday.

Today, all 269 people accused the case were found guilty and were convicted by a court in Tamil Nadu's Dharmapuri district. About 100 of these are policemen and the rest, revenue and forest officials. Seventeen Indian Forest Service (IFS) officials have been found guilty of rape, and the 252 other accused, of committing atrocities against Dalits.
