Delhi and its neighbouring areas experienced light rainfall this morning. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted that the national capital will have a generally cloudy sky throughout the day with intermittent light rain showers.

The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has removed the speed restriction for metro trains while crossing the bridges over the Yamuna and said that all trains are running at normal speed now.

Heavy rain returned to Delhi once again on Saturday evening as it grapples with severe flooding after record showers, and a record-breaking rise in water levels in the Yamuna River that flows through the city.
