Delhi Casino Busted

An illegal casino was busted at Harman Palace in the Jyoti Nagar police station area of New Delhi, police said, adding that they arrested 41 accused persons along with Rs 4.98 lakh in cash, mobile phones and casino coins.

The police have busted a racket running a casino from a farmhouse in outer Delhi's Alipur area and arrested 16 people allegedly involved in gambling, officials said on Sunday.

Delhi Police on Friday claimed to have busted an illegal casino and arrested 51 persons, including five women, for gambling in a resort located in west Delhi.

A casino operating from a sprawling farmhouse in south Delhi also used for shooting TV shows was raided by the police last night and 30 people were arrested. Thirteen luxury cars were seized from the 13-acre farmhouse on Dera Mandi road.

Eight people were arrested and nearly 3,000 gambling chips worth crores of rupees were seized as the police raided an illegal casino in south Delhi's Vasant Kunj area today.

A city court on Monday granted bail to seven persons, arrested in connection with a gambling case in which an illegal casino was busted in South Delhi's posh Sainik Farms area.

After 10 pm, bungalow J-255 in south Delhi's Sainik Farms used to turn into a casino where gambling chips worth crores were in play. Roulette and blackjack tables made the transformation complete.
