Demonetisation: Supreme Court Refuses To Give Urgent Hearing To Plea

The Supreme Court on Friday refused to grant urgent hearing to a plea seeking quashing of the Centre's November 8 notification demonetising Rs 1,000 and Rs 500 currency notes on various grounds, including that political parties and religious institutions have not been allowed to deposit the old notes in banks.
