Following days of long queues and check-in delays, the Delhi airport's management informed today that the average waiting time for passengers has been brought down to between 7-8 minutes at the international terminal.

India's largest airline IndiGo said on Monday its flights and check-in systems were running normally, after an hours-long outage hit operations at airports, leading to long queues and hassling passengers.IndiGo said earlier its systems had been down across the network since Monday morning.

As the flexible tickets are charged extra, there is no fee for any change in the flight timings, according to IndiGo.

British Airways passengers were facing delays on Tuesday after a computer glitch hit check-in times while protesters at London City Airport forced their way onto the runway to disrupt flights.

The proposal, at the same time, envisages providing incentives for passengers who travel light.

The check-in system at terminal 1B of the domestic airport here collapsed today due to crashing of the server resulting in flight delays for some time causing inconvenience to passengers.
