Coal India Officers Charged For Rs 22 Crore Fraud In Dhanbad

The CBI has charged senior officers of the public sector undertaking Bharat Coking Coal Limited (BCCL) for allegedly siphoning off Rs 22.16 crore through illegal payments routed through a Dhanbad-based company, officials said on Friday.

A 13-year-old boy was allegedly beaten to death by personnel of the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) in Jharkand's coal city Dhanbad on Friday, police sources said. According to police, the boy was found dead near Ghanawadih colliery of Bharat Coking Coal Limited (BCCL) situated under Jharia coal belt.
