A court at Ramanagar on Wednesday granted police permission to subject controversial self-styled godman Nithyananda to a medical test as sought by the CID in a sex scandal case in 2010 reportedly involving him.

The Ramnagar Court issued an arrest warrant against Lenin Kuruppan, who exposed controversial swami Nityananda's sex scandal, following a complaint filed by Tamil film actress Ranjitha. In her complaint, she claimed that the video supposedly showing her in a compromising position with Nityananda has been morphed.
