OpenAI is reportedly discussing the possibility of buying CEO Sam Altman and Jony Ive’s artificial intelligence (AI) startup. The unnamed startup was reportedly founded last year and is building AI-powered devices. As per the report, the San Francisco-based AI firm is considering a full acquisition as well as a partnership deal with the startup.

Amazon Invests Additional $2.75 Billion in AI Startup Anthropic

Amazon is investing an additional $2.75 billion in AI startup Anthropic, bringing the former's total investment in the well-regarded AI builder to $4 billion. As part of the deal, Anthropic has also agreed to use Amazon Web Services data centers to power some of its operations, and to use Amazon's custom-built computer chips.
