Armed Forces Day 2017

Design and development of an ultra high altitude Indian-made drone, first identified by NDTV in a 2017 report, has progressed significantly and could be available to the Indian armed forces within three to five years.

The Indian Armed Forces Flag Day is dedicated to collection of funds from people for the welfare of the serving personnel, ex-servicemen and their families.

Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces of United Arab Emirates (UAE) Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan will be visiting India from January 24 to 26 during which he will attend the Republic Day celebrations as chief guest, the External Affairs Ministry said on Thursday.
