"In America, if we see the numbers of shows being made and the scale of those shows, then you can see a big revolution in the TV medium, where it is going to take over completely. That's why I did this show," said Shabana

"Anil sir approached me for this Gorakhpuri villain's role. I was initially sceptical but the belief he showed in me made me confident and I accepted the part. He is like family and has nurtured me like his own son," said Sikander

24 is an Indian adaptation of the popular American TV show 24 and will go on air on Saturday. It also features Surveen Chawla and Sakshi Tanwar

"My statement regarding me not doing TV was in context to not doing fiction on TV," said Surveen Chawla

"This (TV) is my root. I started from here. I am so proud of my television (work). I am a television product. I am very proud of the medium. If I continue to find interesting subjects, you will keep seeing me on TV," Sakshi Tanwar told IANS.

"My body is all bruised. I had to go to a physiotherapist as well. In fact, some of the stuntmen also got injured but everyone is fit to work relentlessly," said Anil Kapoor

"It is a tough ride to do both TV and films. Aamir Khan has always been a leader and inspiration. He is younger than me and sometimes you learn from them," said Anil Kapoor

Anil Kapoor bought the official rights of 24, the first season of which was launched in India in 2013. He has also collaborated with the makers of Emmy-winning series Modern Family for television viewers here

"People think there's lot of money in television, but it's a wrong impression," said Anil Kapoor. The actor made the Indian adaptation of hit American television series 24. The show will soon air its second season. Anil Kapoor also said that he wants India to shine bright with its content in the international entertainment circuit

"I am playing anti-terrorist unit chief (in 24). The whole show is about hackers, RAW, national security. I just wanted to get as much knowledge as possible so I am coming to meet the hackers and interact with them. It will be very exciting to meet them," said Anil Kapoor

"The few names that we are talking to are Akshaye, Tabu, Prachi, but all that is yet to unfold. We haven't spoken to Urmila about the show, we don't know where that came from," said Abhinay Deo, who will direct the second season of 24 starring Anil Kapoor in the lead role

The show is an adaptation of the popular international show of the same name. "Obviously we have to meet a lot of people. Like last season, (then Mumbai police chief) Rakesh Maria helped us immensely when we went with him to do research. He had even met our writers and devoted a lot of time to them," said Anil
