Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's comeback movie Jazbaa has shown consistent performance at the box office over the weekend, with Sunday collections being Rs 5.52 crores. With its first weekend collection figures, Jazbaa continues to lag behind movies like Katti Batti (Rs 16 crores) and Hero (Rs 21 crores)

Jazbaa has been regarded as the Guzaarish actress' comeback movie but her co-star Irrfan believes otherwise. "For me she was always here. She didn't go anywhere. An actor should be allowed a gap. Her audience is still with her. People are her fan, her admirers, and they'll definitely go to watch her," he said in an interview to PTI

On being asked about how she prepared herself for the character, she said: "There was no time for the preparations. It was like 'go to the sets and jump to action'. I am glad that I was able to do that." Directed by Sanjay Gupta, Jazbaa has received a U/A certificate from the Central Board of Film Certification and is set to release on Octob...

"I think there shouldn't be any loss-making project in the film industry and if it is well planned, no film can flop. This is a very good time for filmmaking business. I think the business has found its security. As industry exhibition has increased and continues to grow, it gives the opportunity to make more prints" she said

"We were shooting all night when at 3 am her staff came running and said, 'She's just vomited'. When I inquired who had vomited, the staff said it's Aaradhya. The family was out of town and Aishwarya didn't want to disrupt the movie schedule. So she brought her along instead of cancelling the shoot," Sanjay Gupta said

"I guess I'm feeling nervous now as everyone is looking forward to the film. October is not far away. Not much time is left for release," Aishwarya said. "We had a good time making Jazbaa, and as I have said before, it is wonderful working with Sanjay. I haven't seen the final movie yet. So let's see, we are looking forward to it," she added

The news of the Munna Bhai actor, who is out on a 30-day parole, doing Mr Gupta's film went viral after the actor dropped onto the sets of Jazbaa, which marks the comeback of actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, on September 11. He is out on parole to tend to his daughter, who is to undergo nose surgery

"I haven't felt being absent, though going by the time and the number of releases that we do have, of course, I wasn't making movies. Being a working mother, I really did not delve into this absence factor," she said
