Coronavirus Lockdown: Airlines Decline Refund On Cancellation, Say Reschedule Instead

With the central government extending the lockdown to May 3 and subsequently the suspension of all commercial passenger services also till then, domestic airlines have again decided not to refund the customers in cash for their cancelled flights and instead offer them rescheduling of tickets for a later date without any additional fee.

DGCA Unlikely To Make Printing Cancellation Charges On Ticket Mandatory

The DGCA is unlikely to make it compulsory to print cancellation charges on air tickets, with the Indian aviation watchdog suggesting that the charges be "indicated prominently" at the time of booking, according to an official document.
