Air India today warned of "exemplary disciplinary action" against employees "sabotaging" the progress of the national carrier after some pilots did not report for duty in protest against non-payment of allowances and other issues, partially affecting its operations on Sunday.

It's the seventh day of the strike by Air India pilots but there is no end in sight for the stalemate. Passenger woes continue as 13 international flights have been cancelled overnight; 22 were cancelled yesterday. Civil Aviation Minister Ajit Singh today said that the pilots have to call off strike to have talks.
