Aphex Twin, Calvin Harris, Jamie xx and Mark Ronson were also nominated in the same category. Coldplay on the other hand won the British Group Award. Adele has clarified her official blog about her "five-year hiatus plan", insisting she would indeed take a break but it won't be that long.
