PW Engine Issue Likely To Have An Impact On Future Capacity: IndiGo

With aviation watchdog DGCA ordering IndiGo to replace all A320neo aircraft with unmodified Pratt and Whitney (PW) engines by January 31, the airline on Wednesday designated this matter as one of the "revenue headwinds" of 2019-20, and said it is "likely to have an impact on future capacity".

Aviation Body Asks GoAir To Replace Engines Of 13 A320Neo Planes

Civil aviation regulator DGCA today asked GoAir to replace 13 A320Neo aircraft's PW engines, which have been used for over 3,000 hours, within the next 15 days or face grounding of the airplanes, an official said.
