25 Trains Delayed

Delhi fog today: Over 110 flights were affected at the Delhi airport after dense fog shrouded north India on Wednesday morning as visibility dropped to just 25 metres, disrupting the movement of traffic.

At least 25 Delhi-bound trains were delayed by 1 to 6 hours due to fog in several parts of northern India, officials said on Tuesday.

As dense fog enveloped several parts of the national capital today, 55 trains were cancelled, 25 remained partially cancelled and at least 11 delayed across northern railways due to low visibility, officials said.

On Thursday also, 55 trains were cancelled while the frequency of 25 trains were reduced due to dense fog.

Delhi since early morning today has been engulfed in a thick blanket of fog accompanied by a noticeable drop in temperature. The low visibility has slowed down traffic on roads.
