The Centre today said a "roadmap" for implementing key provisions of the Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Act would be prepared and a final view on granting special status to the state would be taken "reconciling" with the Finance Commission's recommendations.

The Centre today said it has released about Rs 385 crore to Andhra Pradesh and Rs 150 crore to Telangana as part of recommendations of the 13th Finance Commission.

Ms Rajaraman, a member of the 13th Finance Commission, advocated the GST and described it as important tax reform that would place the country on a higher growth trajectory.
