Mumbai:
India's preliminary squad for the 2011 Cricket World Cup will be picked in Mumbai later today.
While the selectors will announce 30 names today, of these only 15 will make the cut when the final squad is picked exactly a month before the tournament begins.
No real surprises are expected though from the five-member selection committee.
While India are rated among the favourites to win the Cricket World Cup, that's being held on the sub-continent after a gap of 15 years, the pressure on MS Dhoni's men to bring home a trophy that India hasn't won since 1983 will be enormous.
