Malayalam actress Mamta Mohandas got married to her family friend and Bahrain-based businessman Prajith Padmanabhan in the last week of December.

Mamta, 26, made her debut with Mayookham directed by veteran director Hariharan in 2005. She has acted in 30 films, including Tamil, Telugu and Kannada films.
In a short span she created her space in the Malayalam industry and has acted alongside all the three superstars -- Mammootty, Mohanlal and Suresh Gopi -- besides other top stars including Jayaram, Dileep, Prithviraj and Kunchacko Boban. Besides acting, Mamta is a trained singer as well and has rendered her voice in some Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam films.
