Rishi and Neetu Kapoor sent off their Ganpati with a cheerful ceremony in Mumbai on September 21. They were joined by their daughter Riddhima Sahni and granddaughter Samara, who had flown from Delhi for the festivities.
Neetuji and Riddhima were all smiles as they braved the rain, with Samara in tow, to the pandal.
Neetu Kapoor was photographed cheerfully chatting away after the pooja.
Actress Dimple Kapadia bid adieu to Ganpati with her daughter, author Twinkle Khanna, and grandson Aarav.
Twinkle and Aarav seemed to be in the middle of a serious discussion.
Dimple Kapadia wore a festive magenta sari with green and yellow border. Twinkle looked radiant in a white suit, matching dupatta with colourful border and gold jewellery.
Aarav was quite the man of the house in a blue kurta.
He had a starring role in the immersion ceremony.
The mood was also festive at the house of actor Vivek Oberoi who was joined by his wife Priyanka, father Suresh Oberoi and mother Yashodhara as they immersed Ganpati.
Priyanka, who was dressed in the traditional Maharashtrian green, taught her son Vivaan Veer the rituals of the ceremony.
Suresh Oberoi sounded the conch, while his five-month-old granddaughter, Ameyaa, wailed in his arms.
Suresh and Vivek Oberoi drove Ganpati away in a jeep.
