Actress Chitrangada Singh is making a lot of heads turn and ends up being on Google Trends almost everyday, ever since the first promos of her soon-to-release and also her first commerical film Desi Boyz starring hunks Akshay Kumar and John Abraham started airing.
She showed great promise in Sudhir Mishra's Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi (2003) and in her second film Kal: Yesterday and Tomorrow in 2005 before taking a break of three years. Gorgeous actor Chitrangada Singh returned with director Onir's film Sorry Bhai in 2008 followed by another Sudhir Mishra film this year, Yeh Saali Zindagi.
Moving from offbeat cinema, Chitrangada Singh is excited about her first commercial release, Desi Boyz.
She dons a glamorous look in the film which releases this Friday, November 25.
Talking about her character Tanya Sharma in Desi Boyz, Chitrangada says since her character requires her to look edgy, smart and stylish but mature, her stylist first made changes to her hairstyle.
The pretty actress is reportedly doing an item number in Shirish Kunder's Joker starring Akshay Kumar, Sonakshi Sinha and Shreyas Talpade. According to reports, the song titled Kaafirana will be choreographed by Shirish's wife, star choreographer Farah Khan.

Often compared to screen and stage actor, the late Smita Patil, Chitrangada dazzled with her performance and arresting looks in Sudhir Mishra's Hazaaron Khwahishen Aisi (2003) and her second film Kal: Yesterday and Tomorrow in 2005.
She vanished from the big screen and took a sabbatical for almost three years and returned with director Onir's film Sorry Bhai in 2008.
Her last film was Sudhir Mishra's Yeh Saali Zindagi, which released earlier this year.
She began her career as a model in the Capital before shifting her focus first to music videos (she featured in Gulzar's Sunset Point) and eventually to movies.
It was a production manager with her favourite director Sudhir Mishra who first spotted Chitrangada after watching her in a music video.
On the personal front, Chitrangada is married to golfer Jyoti Randhawa and they have a son. She has a golfer brother too, Digvijay Singh.
But the pretty lady says she hasn't completely bid adieu to parallel cinema and will continue doing it too. "In terms of offbeat cinema if something exciting comes my way, which is challenging and a good role, with a good director like say Vishal Bhardwaj or somebody, I would love to do that again and go right back."
Desi Boyz also stars John Abraham and Deepika Padukone.
Chitrangada is currently busy promoting Desi Boyz, seen here with co-actors Deepika Padukone and Akshay Kumar during the 2nd World Kabbadi match at the Guru Nanak Stadium in Ludhiana.
