Talking about the award, Kareena said, "UK has been one of my most favoured destinations. There has always been special relation between India and the UK and over the years the bond has become stronger."

During the event, Kareena also recalled that her great grandmother was British and her father-in-law, Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi, captained Oxford cricket team.
