There has always been huge curiosity about Ranbir's personal life. In March 2008, he admitted he was dating his Bachna Ae Haseeno co-star Deepika.

Many quarters in Bollywood placed the blame for the Ranbir-Deepika break up squarely on Katrina's slim shoulders.

Katrina, then allegedly dating Salman Khan, and Ranbir reportedly hit it off while filming Ajab Prem Ki Gazab Kahani, and started a relationship.

For years, they never confessed to dating but reported public displays of affection, notably on-board a flight, and a memorable occasion when taxmen arrived at Katrina's apartment to find Ranbir fed relationship rumours. After being outed by a snap-happy holidaymaker in Ibiza a year or so ago, Ranbir and Katrina became less guarded about their reported romance. Now, caution has seemingly been thrown to the wind and the couple share an apartment in Mumbai. They still refuse to comment on wedding rumours, however.
