It's time to bid the Ice and Rice Buckets goodbye and welcome the Book List Challenge. Was that a hurrah? If it was, then we know who you are, yes we do.
You are the one who frets over the movie version of a book; the one who can be alone in a room for days with a book as their only companion; the one who dreams of a humungous personal library and rolls their eyes when people don't get their literary references.
And if you are asking why this is a challenge - quieten down, you are no book lover. If you were, you would have known what a daunting task it is to choose just 10.
Those who can lose their lives in libraries have an exhaustive list of favourites. Rarely do two bookworms have the same books on their top 10 list. However, on Facebook where the challenge is currently doing the rounds, the below mentioned books are on most people's lists.
A Suitable Boy by Vikram Seth To Kill A Mocking Bird by Harper Lee Winnie the Pooh by A A Milne The Hitchhikers Guide to The Galaxy by Douglas Adams The Asterix series by Goscinny and Uderzo The Tintin series by Herge J K Rowling's Harry Potter series The Lord of The Rings by J R R Tolkein P G Wodehouse's Jeeves and Wooster series The Famous Five books by Enid Blyton Gone With The Wind by Margaret Mitchell
We would like to extend the Book List Challenge to you. Share your list in the comments box.
