Sanya Malhotra is not only an excellent performer but is also very true to herself. Recently, the actress revealed details about her life, her acting choices and what makes her love being a woman. In an exclusive interview with Elle India, Sanya revealed how she has imposter syndrome and how she deals with it. Imposter syndrome is a phenomenon described as self-doubt of intellect, skills or accomplishments among high-achieving individuals. Talking about the syndrome, she opened up about being too harsh on herself and not forgiving of the mistakes she made. She feels like an imposter amidst her glamorous Bollywood life. She said, “I think I'm still a work in progress. I envy people who do not have imposter syndrome. I hope I have a more concrete solution to deal with this in a few months.”

Vidya Balan 

Back in 2023, Vidya Balan opened up about dealing with imposter syndrome. In an interview with Filmfare, the actress revealed how there's a lot of pressure to maintain a certain body type. She said, “It's a kind of imposter syndrome. I've gotten over that, and I'm slowly accepting myself the way I am.”  

Ellie Goulding 

Singer Ellie Goulding also spoke about how her imposter syndrome had led her to sabotage her career success. She said, “I know for sure that a lot of my anxiety has come from what they call ‘imposter syndrome', not believing myself enough and thinking that I don't deserve happiness, which results in wanting to sabotage my own success.” 

Bella Hadid 

Back in 2022, model Bella Hadid opened up about dealing with the syndrome. She told Vogue, “I've had this imposter syndrome where people made me feel like I didn't deserve any of this. People always have something to say, but what I have to say is, I've always been misunderstood in my industry and by the people around me.”  

Dealing with insecurities can be tough and we are proud of the celebrities who talked openly about it.
