Kolkata:
A woman who was visiting a relative in Kolkata's SSKM hospital has alleged she was raped by a driver of a private taxi around early this morning.
In her complaint the victim states she boarded the taxi at 1 am from Exide More to go to Sealdah when the driver allegedly drove her to an isolated spot near Nicco Park. He then raped her there. She noted his cab number and registered a police complaint.
Medical reports on the victim confirm she was raped and based on her information; the taxi driver has been arrested.
