'Sukhbir Badal Has 63 Fake CDs Against Us,' Says Arvind Kejriwal

Arvind Kejriwal is in Punjab for what many see as a major clean-up of his party organization.

New Delhi: After arriving in Punjab amid protests for a three-day visit, Arvind Kejriwal fired a series of allegations at the state's ruling Akali Dal and the powerful Badal family.

"I have information that Sukhbir Badal has 63 fake CDs against us, they will release two or three daily," the Delhi Chief Minister said at a press conference moments after reaching Ludhiana.

"They hired an entire video company for this," he said.

Mr Kejriwal is in Punjab for what many see as a major clean-up of his party organization, which has been enmeshed in allegations of infighting, bribe and exploitation of women.

"I am setting up camp and will not leave until I remove the Badals," he said, targeting Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal and his son and deputy Sukhbir Badal.

AAP has been facing a crisis in Punjab after it was forced to remove its state chief Sucha Singh Chhotepur over a sting allegedly showing him accepting bribe.
