Nalbari, Assam: Student organisations have called a bandh in Nalbari district of Assam today in protest against Sunday's attack that left at least six dead and 50 wounded.

Suspected ULFA militants had triggered two blasts close to a police station in Nalbari on Sunday.

A high alert has been sounded across the state in view of the blasts and people have been asked to remain indoors by the district administration.

Meanwhile, an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) has been found in Bhalukpung along Assam's Arunachal border. The IED is yet to be diffused. The highway has been blocked.
