Sex Video: Has AAP Forgotten 'Legacy' Of Anna Hazare, Asks Ravi Shankar Prasad

Ravi Shankar sought to know from Arvind Kejriwal if he has "disowned the legacy" of Anna Hazare movement.

New Delhi: A day after Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Sandeep Kumar was sacked from the Delhi government over an "objectionable" CD, Union Minister for Law and Justice Ravi Shankar Prasad on Thursday sought to know from Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal if he has "disowned completely the legacy" of Anna Hazare movement.

"These are alarming irregularities with which corruption and impropriety has become the buzz word. I want to ask Kejriwal have you disowned completely the legacy of Ana Hazare movement; that is the point. They keep on attacking the Prime Minister daily without any basis. The massive mandate of Delhi is being wasted by the Aam Aadmi Party," said Mr Prasad.

Mr Prasad said the party earlier was trying to become "custodian of propriety" of Indian politics and were giving certificates of honesty to others; but now, incidents like these are being highlighted in their own governance.

AAP sacked Sandeep Kumar yesterday for featuring in a CD that allegedly shows him in a compromising position with two women. On Thursday, he denied that he was the person featuring in the controversial video, saying he was bearing the brunt for being a Dalit and poor.

Demanding an investigation into the matter, Sandeep Kumar dubbed the CD episode as "hoax", while alleging that it was a conspiracy against him.
