Seven injured as goods, passenger train collide in Odisha
Jharsuguda, Odisha: A goods train collided sideways with the Samaleswari Express at Jharsuguda station in Odisha.

The accident occurred at 2am on Wednesday.

Latest reports say seven people have been injured, one of them seriously.

Nine coaches of the Samaleswari Express have been partially damaged.

Train services on the route resumed at 7:30 am today.

This is the second train accident after the Doon Express incident on Tuesday which killed seven people.   

The Commissioner of Railway Safety (CRS) of the South Eastern Railway (SER) will conduct an inquiry into the factors and reasons behind the accident at Jharsuguda station.

The inquiry will take place on November 24 and 25.
