- High Court questions Sunjay Kapur's wife over her demand for a non-disclosure agreement to reveal his assets
- "There is a limit to court proceedings. How do I pass this order?" the court says
- Karisma Kapoor's children claim all the money has been wiped off from the bank account disclosed in the will
The family feud over industrialist Sunjay Kapur's purported Rs 30,000 crore estate continued on Thursday, with the Delhi High Court questioning his wife Priya Sachdev Kapur's demand for a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) to reveal her late husband's personal assets.
"How much can go in a sealed cover? There is a limit to court proceedings. How do I pass this order? Show me the judgment that says you can seek confidentiality," Justice Jyoti Singh asked Ms Priya.
The court's remarks came as Ms Priya filed a petition seeking directions to Sunjay's children from his second wife and actor Karisma Kapoor, and his mother Rani Kapur to sign a NDA in the interest of "cybersecurity" and other issues. On September 12, the High Court had directed Ms Priya to disclose all movable and immovable assets belonging to her late husband as of June 12, the day of his death.
During the course of hearing, Ms Priya said she was "not shying away" from disclosing the personal assets to Ms Karisma's children but insisted they sign the NDA.
She said there are sensitive financial details pertaining to the assets and disclosing them may cause irreparable harm.

"Everything is being leaked in the media. It is embarrassing how they are conducting press conferences outside the court gate after the hearings," she said. "Why should the public at large have access to the bank details, etc? There are cybersecurity threats," she added.
Meanwhile, the counsel appearing for Ms Karisma's children claimed that all the money has been wiped off from the bank account that has been disclosed in a purported will that was left by Sunjay.
The children opposed Ms Priya's demand for an NDA, saying signing such an agreement would make it difficult to raise questions pertaining to the will.
Justice Singh directed the petitioner to submit the will. "How will you all file a written reply to the suit and argue cases if everything is in sealed cover? Tomorrow you will file a written statement and attach the will to it. How will they file their replies in the court," she said.
As the petitioner sought more time, the High Court posted the matter for Friday.

Sunjay collapsed during a polo match in England on June 12.
In their petition, Ms Karisma's children have challenged Sunjay's March 21 purported will that left his entire personal estate to their step-mother, Ms Priya. The children claim that neither Sunjay mentioned about the will, nor Priya, or any other person ever spoke of its existence.
The children have sought one-fifth share each in their late father's assets. Ms Karisma's daughter, Samaira Kapur, filed the petition through her mother, authorising her as her general power of attorney; her son Kiaan, a minor, is also represented by the mother as the legal guardian.
Mr Priya, however, said the suit is not maintainable. "This suit is not maintainable at all. I am his legal wife. The claims of love and affection - where was all this when they fought prolonged divorce legal battles in the Supreme Court. Your husband left you several years ago," she told the court earlier.

Meanwhile, the late industrialist's mother Ms Rani also filed an application, seeking details of the will. Earlier, she claimed to have lost all her assets worth over Rs 10,000 crore and "left without a roof".
The High Court said the hearing on Ms Priya's plea will continue and Ms Rani's petition will be taken up on Friday.
