Samantha Ruth Prabhu, diagnosed with an autoimmune condition called Myositis, is back at work. The actress, who is busy with the promotional duties of Yashoda, during a recent interview, got emotional while talking about her health. The clip from the interview has been reposted by several fan pages dedicated to Samantha. "I think I said there are some good days and there are some bad days. On some days, getting up from bed is difficult. And on some days, I want to fight. Slowly, the days I want to fight are becoming more. It's been three months now," an emotional Samantha said during the interaction.

The Family Man 2 star also clarified that contrary to what is being reported by a few media outlets, her condition is not life-threatening. "I want to clear one thing. I saw many articles describing my condition as life-threatening. The stage I'm in, it's not life-threatening. At the moment, I'm not dead yet. I don't think those headlines were very necessary but yeah it is difficult but I am here. I've always been a fighter and I will fight."

Samantha resumed work on Monday. Sharing some pictures from her film Yashoda's promotions, she wrote: "Like my good friend Raj Nidimoru says, no matter what the day is like and how s***** things are, his motto is to shower, shave, show up. I borrowed it for a day. For Yashoda promotions...See you on the 11th."

In an Instagram post last month, the actress opened up about health condition and she wrote: "A few months back I was diagnosed with an autoimmune condition called Myositis. I was hoping to share this after it had gone into remission. But it is taking a little longer than I hoped. I am slowly realising that we don't always need to put up a strong front. Accepting this vulnerability is something that I am still struggling with. The doctors are confident that I will make a complete recovery very soon. I have had good days and bad days.... physically and emotionally.... and even when it feels like I can't handle one more day of this, somehow that moment passes. I guess it can only mean that I am one more day closer to recovery."
