The trailer of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3 has released and it looks like one emotional ride. The trailer was debuted by Marvel Studios at Comic-Con Experience 2022 and it is all kinds of exciting. The trailer features Gamora – played by Zoe Saldaña – working with the Ravagers. She is also seen trying to tell Peter Quill – played by Chris Pratt – that she is not the Gamora that he is in love with. A soaring soundtrack, which in this case is the Spacehog track In the Meantime, sets the tone for all there is to come in the final instalment of the franchise. The video shows that while coming to terms with the fact that he has lost Gamora, Peter Quill must also protect the universe. “But no matter what happens next, the galaxy still needs its Guardians,” Peter Quill declares in the trailer. We also get glimpses of Rocket's origin. Rocket is also seen hugging Lyla the Otter, who appears in the comics as his love interest. She is also teased in the first movie.

Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 3 has been written and directed by James Gunn. It stars Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Karen Gillan, Pom Klementieff in the lead roles. Additionally, Vin Diesel features as Groot and Bradley Cooper features as Rocket. While Kevin Feige is the producer, Louis D'Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Nikolas Korda, Simon Hatt, and Sara Smith serve as executive producers on the project.
Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 3 is the last instalment of the trilogy, which began in 2014. The trailer comes soon after The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special was released on Disney+ Hotstar. The film is set to release premiering in theatres on May 5, 2023
