WBJEEB Begins Application Process For JECA 2017 For Admission To MCA

New Delhi: West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board (WBJEEB) has begun the application process for JECA which is a common entrance examination conducted for admission to Master of Computer Application (MCA) courses in various institutions in West Bengal for 2017-18 academic session. The application process started in the online mode on March 7 and will end on March 28. The Board will select students for admission to the program on the basis of performance in a written test only. The exam will be conducted in June. 

Important Dates

Beginning of application process online: March 7, 2017

End of application process including payment and downloading of confirmation page: March 28, 2017

Tentative date for publication of admit card: June 1, 2017

Examination date: June 10, 2017

Tentative date for publication of results: June 30, 2017

How to Apply

Step one: Go to WBJEEB official website: wbjeeb.in

Step two: Click on the tab which says JECA.

Step three: Click on the link which says Apply for JECA 2017.

Step four: You will first need to register and create your login credentials.

Step five: Login to your cadidate's profile and fill the application form.

Step six: Upload scanned image of your photograph and signature.

Step seven: Pay application fee and download confirmation page.

JECA 2017 Exam Pattern

The entrance exam will be OMR based. There would be two papers in the examination - Mathematics and Aptitude Test. The test for Mathematics paper will be of 2 hours duration and will be conducted between 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. There would be 100 objective type questions in this paper.

The Aptitude Test will be of one hour duration and will be conducted between 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm. There would be 50 questions in this paper. Each question in both the papers will carry one marks.
