PSEB Class 8 Result: Previous Year Performance
The overall pass percentage witnessed a slight decline in 2025 compared to 2024. It dropped from 98.31% in 2024 to 97.30% in 2025. Girls outperformed boys, recording a pass percentage of 98.9%, while boys registered 96.49%.

Puneet Verma secured the first rank with a perfect score of 600 out of 600 marks. Navjot Kaur also scored 600 marks and was placed second based on tie-breaking criteria. Another student, Navjot Kaur, secured the third rank with 599 marks.
PSEB Class 8 Result 2024: Statistics
In 2024, a total of 2,91,917 students appeared for the Class 8 examinations. Out of these, 2,86,987 students passed, resulting in an overall pass percentage of 98.31%. Girls recorded a pass percentage of 98.83%, while boys achieved 97.84%.
