Nihilanth 2018 would be held as part of Chaos, the Annual Cultural Event of IIMA scheduled from January 25-28, 2018.
The event would feature over seven quizzes for the institutes to slug it out for the coveted championship.
Expected participation of 450+ students from over 39 contingents (19 IITs, 20 IIMs) in this edition of the event is sure to pique interest levels among all quizzing enthusiasts across India.
The competitive bid for hosting the event was coordinated by LSD (Literary Symposium Desk) of IIM Ahmedabad, an umbrella student body for all literary events on campus.
Commenting about the successful bid, Shobhit Shubhankar, Alumni & External Affairs Secretary of IIMA & an avid quizzer, said "It is wonderful to have Nihilanth at IIMA. We bid for hosting Nihilanth 2017 too where we lost by a narrow margin to IIM Lucknow. The event would go a long way in cementing the quizzing culture on campus and act as a booster shot for LSD's quizzing activities."
Ankush Pumba, Chaos Secretary, quoted "The Chaos committee is determined for making the Annual Cultural Event bigger and better than last year. We want Chaos to be an all-encompassing cultural event, and the combination of Chaos & Nihilanth undoubtedly will make IIMA an irresistible place to spend the first long weekend of 2018."
