The Nagaland Board has announced the Class 10 and Class 12 results today, May 31. The Nagaland Board of School Education (NBSE) which administers the High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC), or Class 10, and Higher Secondary School Leaving Certificate (HSSLC), or Class 12 exams has hosted the NBSE result on the official website -- nbsenl.edu.in. In the Nagaland Board Class 10 HSLC exam, out of the 28,938 students appearing in the exams, a total of 18,721 candidates have qualified. The overall pass percentage this year in NBSE Class 10 result is 64.69 per cent, while it was 69.42 per cent last year. Saying that that girls have fared better in Class 10 Nagaland board exams, NBSE in the result statement said: “The girls have again done better with 10,021 girls qualifying and 8,700 boys qualifying the examination.”
In the Top 20 list of NBSE HSLC Class 10 toppers, there are as many as 62 students, out of which 44 are girls, the Nagaland board statement added.
The overall pass percentage in NBSE HSSLC Arts stream in 80.64 per cent, while it is 82.28 per cent and 88.24 per cent in Commerce and Science streams respectively. The overall pass percentages last year in Arts, Commerce and Science streams were 69.37 per cent, 74.39 per cent and 91.35 per cent respectively.
Although the NBSE 2022 results for Class 10 and Class 12 will be announced today, the Nagaland board will issue the documents from June 2.
“The board will issue the documents to the centre superintendents only from June 2. Centre Superintendent will collect and distribute to the schools under his/ her centre,” NBSE statement earlier said.
“District-wise collection dates shall be made available in the board's portal- nbsenl.edu.in and the district Whatsapp groups. As such, all Centre Superintendents are requested to note the dates and collect the documents accordingly," it read. Students will be able to collect the marksheets and pass certificates using their original admit cards.
