Here we have broken down the whole process of applying online to Mumbai University into four simple steps.
Step one: Locate the web portal for online application
This is pretty simple if you have the correct web address. Students may find it hard to find the online application link on the main university website which is www.mu.ac.in. A shortcut is to directly go to the digital university portal which is http://www.mum.digitaluniversity.ac/. Enter this url in your web browser and you can eaily navigate to the online application link which is available on the home page.
Step two: Registration
After you click on the online admission link, you will be redirected to login/registration page. For registration you will need basic details like name, parents' name, date of birth, mobile phone number etc. After you fill the details and submit the same, a pop up would show you the list of required documents for application process and other instructions. Read them carefully and agree to the declaration to complete your registration process.
Step three: Validating Registration
Completing step two will generate your user name and one time password. Use these to validate your registration and create a new password. After validation, you can use your user name and the newly created password to login to your user account.
Step four: Completing Application Form and final submission
Now that you have validated your registration, you can login and fill the online application form. Through the online form you can apply to multiple courses and colleges. There are essentially 6 sub-parts of the online application form - Personal information, Address, Education (academic information), Reservation sought (if any), Uploading photo and signature, and Contact information.
The students applying online will have time till June 16 to complete the process. Students should read the instructions provided in the online portal carefully to avoid any discrepancies or problems in admission process.
