CAT 2022 Exam: The Common Admission Test 2022 (CAT 2022) held on Sunday, November 27 is over. The candidates who took the management entrance test found the overall difficulty level of the exam as moderately difficult. The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Bangalore is expected to release the CAT answer key in the first or second week of December 2022.
Candidates in slots 1 and 2 reviewed the paper a bit tough, with some in slot 2 felt that the paper pattern was not followed. However, the candidates who appeared in slot 3 analysed the paper as moderately difficult, with questions from VARC and DILR a bit tough.

CAT 2022 result is likely to be released in the second week of January 2023. Candidates who appeared in the exam can check and download the CAT scorecard through the official website- iimcat.ac.in.
After the CAT 2022 result is declared, IIMs and other top MBA institutions will begin the admissions process. Candidates should check the admission requirements of the B-schools properly as the admission criteria, CAT cut-off, and percentile may differ across MBA colleges and institutions. The shortlisted candidates will have to participate in the group discussion (GD), personal interview (PI), written ability test (WAT) or other rounds.

CAT is held for admission to postgraduate management programmes in the IIMs and the participating non-IIM institutions. As per the paper pattern, the questions in the exam are from Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension; Quantitative Ability and Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning.
