Balrampur, Uttar Pradesh:
A pregnant woman and her two-and-a-half year old son were allegedly burnt alive on Wednesday by her husband after his dowry demand was not met.
"Maltidevi and her son were burnt alive this morning by her husband Maniram and his family members in Balpur village here," police sources said. Both died on the spot.
An FIR has been registered against six people, including Maniram. No arrest has been made in this connection.
