Rail traffic was disrupted for more than an hour as locals blocked the tracks at Laheriasarai railway station in Bihar's Darbhanga town today in protest against the death of a youth in a road
accident nearby.
Police had to resort to lathicharge as the mob pelted stones in protest against the death of Prem Sagar Singh, who was run over by a truck near the station last night, police sources said.
The Jainagar-Amritsar Saheed Express, Darbhanga-New Delhi Sampark Kranti Express and Ranchi-Jainagar Express got delayed by nearly an hour because of the agitation, the sources said.
