Ashram-Sarai Khwaja Elevated Corridor to Boost Delhi-Faridabad Connectivity, Real Estate Potential

The proposed Ashram-Sarai Khwaja elevated corridor is expected to bring a major infrastructure upgrade to the Delhi-Faridabad stretch, offering relief to thousands of daily commuters who face heavy congestion on Mathura Road. Planned by the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI), the project aims to create a signal-free route between South Delhi and Faridabad and significantly improve travel efficiency.

The proposed elevated corridor will extend nearly 7.5 km from Ashram to Sarai Khwaja and is expected to feature a six-lane structure with an estimated investment of around ₹800 crore. Subject to approvals and implementation timelines, work on the project is likely to begin by the end of 2026.

Once completed, travel time between Ashram and Sarai Khwaja could be reduced to nearly 15 minutes under smooth traffic conditions. Beyond easing mobility concerns, industry experts believe the project could emerge as a major catalyst for growth across the Mathura Road belt.

Commenting on the development, Aman Gupta, Director, RPS Group, said, "Infrastructure projects like the Ashram-Sarai Khwaja elevated corridor are not just about reducing travel time; they are about reshaping how cities grow. Better connectivity along Mathura Road will unlock significant economic potential and create a strong foundation for integrated urban development across Delhi-Faridabad. Such projects strengthen long-term confidence among businesses, homebuyers, and investors alike."

Improved connectivity is expected to drive demand for residential, retail, and office developments while strengthening the Delhi-Faridabad corridor as an emerging real estate and business destination. Experts also see long-term value appreciation and stronger investor interest in the region due to infrastructure-led development.

The report is indeed a reflection of the great momentum in the residential property market of India due to the continuous consumer demands, changing aspirations and improved infrastructure facilities in both metropolitan cities and growing cities. The buyers are becoming more concerned about creating value out of their investment in terms of quality and integrated living spaces, and that is motivating developers to invest in developing planned projects. Also, the continuous increase in the number of housing sales in 75 cities is an indication of the confidence of consumers towards the economy.

The Liases Foras report reflects the resilience and enduring strength of India's residential estate sector. A 16% rise in sales value to Rs 9.33 lakh crore shows strong demand quality, even as volumes stabilise, reinforcing the market's maturity. With new supply rising by 10% and housing prices holding steady, the market shows continued confidence among developers and end-users alike. India's real estate sector is entering a new avenue, characterised not by rapid expansion but by value-driven growth.

India's real estate market is reaching new dimensions on the strength of growth, connectivity, and infrastructure. The total value of home sales across 75 major cities, rising 16% to Rs 9.33 lakh crore, clearly demonstrates that demand in the market continues to remain strong. This growth is not limited to large metro cities like Delhi and Gurugram alone, but is clearly visible in Tier-2 cities and emerging micro-markets such as Karnal, Sonipat, Mohali and Panchkula. Improved expressways, rapid rail, industrial corridors, and enhanced connectivity have transformed these regions into new investment hubs. Although there has been a marginal decline in the number of homes sold, the rise in property prices and strong demand for new projects have kept the market stable. This strengthens the expectation of even greater momentum in the real estate sector in the times ahead.

"Bitcoin trades near $75,647, with technicals cautious as sell signals outweigh buys, while oscillators remain neutral. The $73,000 to $75,000 zone remains important, supported by ETF inflows and long-term holder accumulation.

Ethereum trades near $2,071 and remains under short-term pressure, but its broader roadmap continues to strengthen. Proposed Hegota upgrade EIPs could enable native private transactions, improving Ethereum's role in secure DeFi, enterprise adoption, and financial sovereignty.

Beyond majors, crypto-linked infrastructure remains active. TeraWulf rose 13% after announcing a Kentucky AI and HPC campus with a planned capacity of over 1 GW, reinforcing miners' shift toward AI infrastructure.

Regulatory and adoption momentum also improved. Bermuda is piloting an on-chain economy with major crypto infrastructure firms, including USDC payments, digital government fees, and a sovereign digital dollar. At the same time, South Korea made digital assets a national priority by introducing security token and stablecoin rules ahead of time, improving clarity for crypto adoption, investors, and exchanges."

The Thesis

With Nifty rejecting 24,100 and Brent stuck near $99 on a shaky US-Iran truce, InvestorAi is doubling down on the capex-plus-financials axis - the two engines that don't need FII flows. Even as foreigners pulled ₹2,408 cr yesterday, the book leans into exactly what DIIs are absorbing: housing finance, PSU banks, power, infra.

Where We're Concentrated

Conviction bunches in two clusters - financials (housing finance, life insurance, PSU bank) and capex execution (power, EPC, logistics). Both ride the same trade: a DII-funded domestic earnings cycle holding while VIX cools. What breaks it: a crude spike through $105 on Iran headlines hits insurer yields and capex margins simultaneously.

Conviction Picks

Sammaan CapitalHIGHEST CONVICTION

Broadest model agreement on the sheet - a housing financier geared to the rate-easing pipeline DIIs are positioning for.

LICHIGHEST CONFIDENCE

Highest-probability name today; defensive financial and a direct DII-flow proxy in a foreign-selling tape.

Adani Power

Pure domestic-demand utility - the cleanest hedge if crude spikes and global growth wobbles.

Larsen & Toubro

Capex bellwether; conviction here says the order-book cycle isn't blinking at FII selling.

Bank of Maharashtra

PSU credit-growth read-through with VIX cooling and BankNifty stabilising near support.

One Thing to Watch

Brent above $105. A breach invalidates the financials leg and forces a defensive rotation out of capex names.

BTC's weekend rebound faded after reports of US strikes on Iranian targets raised concerns about ongoing peace negotiations that would lose momentum, pushing prices back below $76K. At the same time, spot volumes have fallen to their lowest level since July 2023, showing that participation remains thin as inflation pressure and geopolitical uncertainty keep traders cautious. Near-term direction will likely depend on whether BTC can defend the $75.5K support zone and reclaim $76.5K. Until then, momentum will depend on macro headlines and may continue to direct crypto market sentiment.

Bitcoin continues to struggle near the $78,000-$80,000 resistance zone, while buyers are defending the $74,000-$75,000 support region. The recent rejection from $78,000 reflects persistent derivatives-led selling and liquidity pressure. A sharp decline in Bitcoin spot volumes also signals weak market participation, but historically such low-volume phases have often appeared near seller-exhaustion zones. From a technical perspective, BTC needs a decisive reclaim above $78,000 and then $80,000 to revive bullish momentum; otherwise, a retest of $74,000 remains possible. Ethereum remains relatively weaker, trading below key moving averages, with $2,120-$2,160 acting as immediate resistance and $2,000 as critical support.

Stock Market Outlook: Expert View By Rajesh Palviya

Rajesh Palviya, Head of Research, Axis Direct

The Nifty 50 closed Tuesday's session at 23,913.70, declining 118 points as the index slipped below the key 24,000 mark amid healthy profit-booking following the previous session's sharp rally. Despite the corrective move, the broader undertone remains constructive as global risk sentiment continues to improve.

Overnight, US markets delivered a mixed but supportive setup, with the S&P 500 gaining 0.61% and the Nasdaq rallying 1.19% to fresh record highs led by strong technology buying, while the Dow Jones eased marginally by 0.23% due to weakness in energy counters. Asian markets are trading largely positive this morning, with Japan's Nikkei extending gains on easing geopolitical concerns surrounding the US-Iran situation.

On the commodities front, gold is hovering near $4,517/oz, silver around $78/oz, while Brent crude remains steady near $96 despite renewed strikes, indicating that crude volatility is currently under control - a positive for emerging markets including India. GIFT Nifty is indicating a flat-to-positive opening.

Technically, the recent dip appears more like a consolidation after the strong rebound seen earlier, and any sustained move back above 24,000 could trigger fresh short covering and renewed buying momentum toward 24,100 and 24,300 levels. On the downside, immediate support is placed at 23,800 followed by 23,600, where buying interest is likely to emerge.
