- A lifted Chevrolet Silverado drove over a Lamborghini Huracan in a Florida parking lot
- The Lamborghini was moving slowly when the truck rolled onto its front end
- The height difference created blind spots that caused the truck driver to miss the contact
A bizarre parking lot incident in Florida, USA, has gone viral after a lifted Chevrolet Silverado drove over a Lamborghini Huracan worth over Rs 3.4 crore (ex-showroom price at the time of launch in India). The clip shared on social media shows the pickup truck on the supercar's front end, while the driver appears to remain unaware of what had happened at first.
What Happened
According to a video shared online, the Lamborghini was moving slowly through a parking lot, likely looking for a space. The lifted pickup truck then entered the frame and drove over the sports car. Based on reports, there was no visible attempt to avoid the supercar, and the truck rolled directly onto the Huracan.

The impact was not minor. The front wheels of the pickup climbed over the Lamborghini, leaving the low-slung sports car badly damaged. The footage has drawn attention mainly because the truck driver appeared to continue for a moment even after contact was made. Probably, unaware of the contact with the supercar. As per reports, the driver put the truck in park mode in the same position to come out and check what had happened.
Why The Crash Occurred
The incident has also initiated a discussion around visibility problems in lifted trucks. The Lamborghini Huracan sits very low to the ground, while the lifted Silverado has a much taller stance. That height difference can create large blind spots directly in front of the driver, making smaller vehicles harder to spot in close quarters.

Experts often describe this as a crash-compatibility issue, where the design of two vehicles affects how they interact in a collision. In this case, the mismatch between the tall pickup and the low supercar appears to have played a major role.
No Injuries Reported
Reports suggest that no one was injured in the crash. The damage to the Lamborghini, however, seems to be significant, given the expensive bodywork and low front profile of the wedge-shaped sports car.
The owner of the Lamborghini also appears to have shared footage of the aftermath on social media, helping the incident spread quickly across platforms. While the video has gone viral, it also serves as a reminder of how easily parking lot mistakes can turn into costly accidents.
Safety Concerns
The incident has triggered debate about the safety of heavily lifted vehicles in everyday traffic conditions. Rare in India, such larger ride heights are common in the USA. It may improve visibility in some situations, but it can also create serious blind spots and make low vehicles harder to detect. This crash shows that even a routine parking lot manoeuvre can become expensive when vehicle size, speed, and visibility do not match the environment.
