Vietnamese EV maker VinFast has revised the pricing of its VF 6 and VF 7 electric SUVs in India, following the conclusion of its introductory launch offers. The price hike marks the end of the brand's initial strategy to attract early adopters with competitive pricing. With the change in place, the electric SUVs have received an upward revision in prices ranging between Rs 80,000 and Rs 1.30 lakh.
The Vinfast VF 6 now has a price hike of up to Rs 90,000. This electric SUV comes with a 59.6 kWh battery pack with a max range of up to 468 km on a single charge. It is available in Earth, Wind, and Wind Infinity variants. The entry-level Earth trim has received a price increase of Rs 80,000, while the Wind and Wind Infinity models are now costlier by Rs 90,000. After the adjustment, the starting price of the VF 6 is Rs 17.29 lakh (ex-showroom).

This SUV is available with two battery options: a 59.6 kWh unit with 438 km range and a larger 70.8 kWh which offers a maximum range of up to 532 km.
Being a new entrant in the Indian market, even with competitive pricing, VinFast has received a modest response from consumers. Following its entry in the country in September 2025, the automaker sold 826 units in CY25, based on the data released by the Federation of Automobile Dealers Associations. On the sales chart, the brand occupied the ranks above Volvo and Tesla with sales of 389 units and 225 units, respectively.
