Ferrari is a nameplate that has been managing to excite the automotive enthusiasts across the globe, every time it rolls out a new product. This time around, it is the new Ferrari Amlafi. This new 2+ coupe roadster is the successor to the much-celebrated Roma in the brand's line-up. It continues to retain the major design cues and the front-mid-engined twin-turbo V8. Interestingly, all of it recalibrated, only to make it better in all regards - styling, performance, everyday versatility, and onboard tech.

Blending classic Ferrari DNA with modern elegance, the Flavio Manzoni-led design team took cues from the Roma's graceful proportions while preserving the soul of the 2+ sports car. Up front, a body-coloured floating wing replaces the traditional grille, flanked by sleek, integrated sensors and headlamps. A pronounced lower splitter adds visual width.
The rear stands out with a bold shoulder line and minimalist tail. Hidden tail lights evoke classic Ferraris, while the wide diffuser signals serious aerodynamic intent. The rear glass flows seamlessly into the spoiler, creating a signature silhouette. Finished in Verde Costiera, a vivid shade of teal inspired by the Amalfi coast, the sculpted bodywork comes alive with light and motion.

The ageing dashboard layout of the Ferrari Roma is not carried over to its successor. Instead, this is inspired by the 12-cilindri. The dashboard also introduces a striking monolithic design, seamlessly blending the instrument cluster and air vents into a single sculpted unit. The central tunnel, carved from anodised aluminium, appears to float. It houses essentials like the gear selector, key slot, wireless charging pad, and secondary controls. Door grips take on a sail-like form, visually framing the cabin's dual-cockpit layout.
Furthermore, the optional comfort seats come in three sizes and feature ventilation and massage functionality, offering five customizable programs with three intensity levels. To round out the experience, the optional 14-speaker Burmester sound system delivers 1,200 watts of rich sound.

A standout feature is the seamlessly integrated active mobile wing, designed to optimise aerodynamics in real time. It operates in three modes - Low Drag (LD), Medium Downforce (MD), and High Downforce (HD); automatically adjusting based on speed and acceleration.

At the heart of the Ferrari Amalfi is an evolved twin-turbo V8, now pushing out 631 horsepower. It comes paired with an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission for quicker shifts. Talking of numbers: 0-100 km/h in just 3.3 seconds, 0-200 in 9 seconds flat. Also, it boasts a class-leading power-to-weight ratio of 2.29 kg per horsepower. Also, there's a new brake-by-wire system, the 'ABS Evo'. The Amalfi can be further spec'd with a front lifter system usable up to 35 km/h, allowing the car to easily overcome obstacles by raising the nose by up to 40 mm.
