KTM India has wrapped up the third season of its KTM Cup, the company's main customer racing series. The grand finale took place at Kari Motor Speedway in Coimbatore on March 29, 2026. This event drew finalists from selection rounds held in cities like Mumbai, with around 230 riders competing in three categories: Pro, Women's, and Amateur.
Johann Emmanuel claimed victory in the Pro category. Mohammed Mikail took second place, and Jagadeesh finished third. In the Women's category, Lani Zena Fernandez secured the top position, ahead of Saimah Ajaz Baig in second and Jagathishree Kumaresan in third. Karthik R won the Amateur category, with Jobin Kharmalki and Aravind S rounding out the podium in second and third.

All competitors rode identical KTM 390 Duke motorcycles supplied by the company. The bikes feature a top speed of 167 kmph, weigh 168.3 kg, and produce 45.3 bhp at 8500 rpm. The track at Kari Motor Speedway, known for its technical corners and fast straights, tested the riders' skills fully.

A highlight came from MotoGP legend Dani Pedrosa, KTM's factory test rider. He mentored the finalists, rode alongside them, and shared tips on racing lines and pace during the finale. Pedrosa has a strong record with KTM, including recent podiums in Grand Prix events.
The winners from each category, Johann Emmanuel, Lani Zena Fernandez, and Karthik R, earn an all-expenses-paid trip to the Austrian Grand Prix. The prize includes exclusive pit access and a tour of the KTM Motohall in Mattighofen, Austria. This reward builds on KTM's efforts to nurture talent through its one-make championship, recognised by FMSCI.
KTM Cup Season 3 underscores the growing racing scene in India. It started with over 800 participants nationwide, showing strong interest among KTM owners. Events like this help develop skills and connect local riders to global motorsport.
