Hero MotoCorp, one of the largest two-wheeler manufacturers in the world, has begun its operations in the French market in partnership with GD France, which will handle the distribution in the European country. The brand announced its entry into the market with the launch of the Hunk 440 model.

The motorcycle features a design very similar to that of the Mavrick 440. The Hunk 440 comes in three color options: Twilight Blue, and Phantom Black. This model has been developed in partnership with Harley-Davidson and is Euro 5+ compliant. It is also the first of its range and will be followed by other models of the brand.

Hero and GD France have established a network of 30 dealerships for sales and service across the country, with plans to increase this to over 50 dealers by 2026. The launch in France follows recent expansions into the UK, Italy, and Spain, reinforcing Hero MotoCorp's foothold in European markets. Based in New Delhi, the company now operates in 51 countries spanning Asia, Africa, Europe, and Latin America, serving more than 125 million customers.
