
Chery Automobile, one of the largest automobile manufacturers in China, seems to be planning on entering the Indian market. As of now, the brand has not made any official announcement regarding the official launch of its products in the country. However, they have patented two of the popular products in the country. The first was the Tiggo 8 SUV, patented earlier, followed by the Arrizo 8 sedan.
The leaked patent image shows a design very close to the Arizzo 8 sold in the international market. The sedan in the international market comes with modern aesthetics. It stands at 4.7m in length, 1.8m in width, 1.4m in height, and has a wheel base of 2.7m. All of this is complemented by multiple unique color options, including shades of red, black, blue, white, green, and silver. Going with the look are 18-inch wheels.

The cabin of the car in the international market gets a minimalistic appeal with light coloured dual-tone interiors. The tech side of things includes a 24.6-inch screen, wireless phone charger, eight-speaker sound system, 540-degree view, panoramic sunroof, and more. Furthermore, the car focuses on safety with a list of 18 ADAS features and 10 airbags.

The sedan is built on a platform featuring a 1.6-litre TGDi petrol engine paired with a speed DCT that produces 197 hp and 290Nm of torque. The brand also offers the option of a 2.0-litre TGDi, which is tuned to produce 241 hp of power and 390 Nm of torque. This unit is paired with a DCT. Both of the iterations have a Front Wheel Drive configuration.
