
Anuj Dua has joined Hero MotoCorp as Head of Global Product Planning. This comes after his nine-year tenure at Royal Enfield. In this new role, Dua will be responsible for the brand's global product strategy, technology development, and market priorities. The update was confirmed by Dua's post on LinkedIn.
This is not Anuj Dua's first time at Hero MotoCorp; his prior experience with the brand was in roles related to product strategy helped him understand the company's organizational structure and procedures. While at Royal Enfield, he gained insights into the premium motorcycle sector and international markets, which will likely be beneficial as Hero intensifies its product emphasis.

During his nearly nine years at Royal Enfield, Dua occupied high-level leadership positions, including Business Head for Asia Pacific, Head of Global Brand Management - Heritage, Head of Product Strategy, Lead of Go To Market, and Head of Global Product Strategy. In these capacities, he participated in market expansion, product development, pricing strategies, consumer insights, competitive analysis, and execution of brand strategies in both domestic and international markets.
Before his time at Royal Enfield, he spent over ten years at Hero MotoCorp in various roles covering global product planning, marketing, and sales. He had also worked as an assistant retail manager at Bajaj Auto. This appointment arrives at a time when the Indian two-wheeler industry is experiencing changes in demand trends, with growth in the 125cc+ premium commuter and lifestyle motorcycle categories surpassing entry-level models. Manufacturers are also pushing forward with electrification initiatives to comply with regulatory demands and adapt to market readiness.
On a global scale, Hero MotoCorp aims to expand in Asia, Africa, and Latin America, with strategies for premium and electric models expected to be crucial to these objectives.
