Opinion: Asia's Imperfect Elections-Democracy Remains Intact, Even If It's Procedural

Recent elections in Pakistan, Bangladesh, Indonesia and Taiwan show that democracy remains alive in Asia as most countries in the region continue to derive legitimacy from their status as democratic states.
